dvljet said: messmaster isnt billing for membership of a website different than buying adult content one bills monthly the other is a one time deal the companies that do monthly billing have many players in the game but i would becareful that the company who does your membership billing dont suddenly one day tell you were sorry we can no longer do this due to what ever excuses they can come up with
Epoch does offer monthly billing, but also has another feature that will allow one-time payment for goods or services. Also, pretty much any company can turn around and say they won't do processing anymore because of whatever.
try ccbill from what i know most of the legit adult content sites use ccbill and they seem to do alright im gonna ask someone i know who owns and sells vids who he uses and ill let you know
Yes, on Thursday I gave an ETA of one week, and things do still look on-track to be done by Thursday. Of course, problems arise, and I need to get it absolutely right before I roll out the new processing. Right now I'm still integrating UMD's backend with the various API's that are required. I will of course update this thread when any new information is available.
MM, now all DL stores appear to be closed. Are the files gone, or just hidden? Any idea when a payment processor will be available and what the split on sales (or cost to have a store) will be?

Sorry, our download store is closed. Please check back later!
No point advertising stuff you can not sell....
He will let us all know as soon as he has it sorted out - MessMaster is surely losing as much as the rest of us.
Personally, I am relaxing and having a little faith.
Looks like it's back up - was just able to search for stuff, add to cart, and go to the checkout, where it now takes you to Epoch to create an account.
Assuming MM will do a proper announce when everything's in place and thoroughly tested. Only question I have is will we still get paid via our existing AlertPay accounts, or do we now need to create ones with Epoch?

Stores are now back open. I am doing a soft launch for a little while, then I'll post an announcement later, plus approve all the pending new videos and put them in what's new.
The new percentage is 30%. All sales from now going forward will be affected by the new percentage.
The new payment processor for the download store system is Epoch, the same processor that's been doing UMD Premium billing for years. We will still use AlertPay to pay out electronically each Sunday, so there is nothing for producers to change or update in their profiles.
We now take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, JCB, and all that good stuff. But there is a little bit of a pain in the ass to check out. You first have to put a credit card on file with Epoch (no charge), and then you can check out with your purchases. It's like two separate processes, but I have set up UMD to walk you every step of the way, so it shouldn't be too hard.
I am online and monitoring everything now, so please shoot me an inbox or use the Contact Us page, or even reply to this post if you have any problems or suggestions to make it all easier.
