i don't know if you agree but the problem with a lot of pie vids is not that they are mostly male but you get a pie video and it is 8 minutes long and the only pieing is at maybe 7:38 you get most of the video is a boring buildup.

Where are you getting your pie videos? All of the producers I buy from have a ton of hits and only a couple of minutes of establishing a scene/setting up a bit.

Unless you're talking about youtube videos then, well, you get what you pay for.

I'm not sure what pie vids you are talking about but every vid I have gotten from any of the producers on umd has been great. Some have a little bit of buildup but most of the scene is filled with pies and other messes. If you are talking about YouTube vids then I guess you get what you pay for.

Maybe he means YouTube vids, cause the pie vids I see are closer to the opposite: too many pies and not enough build up.

I can confirm that wildy1975 is not lying, although I don't have proof.
Probably because I got rid of all videos that HAD excessively long buildups.
I DO remember it being that way in the "early experimental" days of wam, but I can't name names. Probably from producers who have come and gone,
or during producer's (as I said) experimental phase.

One time I did a scene which started with a 3-min buildup before we pied a new model... SS31 I think. It was basically me reading fake emails and her commenting on them. I thought it was funny... but I got a couple negative responses about "excessive buildup." Can't please 'em all!!

Some buildup is nice depending on the situation. One of my favorite Toshia slime scenes opens with her going "I don't... CARE!" "I don't... UNDERSTAND!" And so on. Really teasing the audience before that inevitable slime falls.

Is inevitable slime different than regular slime? Can I get the proverbial recipe for inevitable slime? It alwayis looks so good.

you save the file, then convert it to to .wmv or whatever, but when you convert, it gives you the option to "cut" the clip - so if you only want the last 30 seconds, that's what will be produced.

but.... Rich inevitable slime is probably green or orange? now if it was black? since we never see black slime only molasses, I guess it does not exist.....

Producers find that black slime doesn't sell, for some reason. Personally, I'll take all the heavenly ebony slime I can get! lol

i'm never going to attempt to set up a scene, so no worries here!

And I, for one, appreciate that so very very much.

There is plenty of black slime used on my websites

I wrote what I did in my first post because I thought what the first poster wrote was absurd, not becuase I think there is no buildup in most wam producer's stuff.

Three minutes doesn't seem long to me. Then again, if not done well it could feel like an eternity. I don't think there is any perfect length for buildup. I've seen great buildup that only lasted 10 or 20 seconds and great buildup that did last minutes. It seems obvious that the longer it is, the harder to sustain and get it right.

The main thing is for there to be a reason or point for the pie(s).

Obviously because the girl is sitting there, on a white chair, in front of a camera. What other reason is there??? lol lol
