Hi guys I've got a pie session next week in a hotel room.
I'll be using shaving foam because it's better on the skin and is easy to clean up compared with cream pies. I had thought about adding food colouring, but I think that might stain clothing/carpet.
Anyone got any ideas for colourful pies that are fabric friendly?
Food coloring will only stain carpet/clothes/skin if it's spilled/poured directly.
When you're mixing it into shaving cream (or Cool Whip, or slime), it's completely absorbed... assuming you mix it well, of course. Colored shaving cream on the wall or carpet will turn to suds and get wiped up easily, just like normal shaving cream.

We found the best way was to use a little bit of coloured gunge mixed with the foam. If you get a mixing bowl and spray the foam into it then whisk in a small amount of gunge you get a coloured pie with a little bit more firmness.
Its what we used in our 350 pie series of films.

The Pie Castle "Join Ari and Dynamo for a mass pie fight on the bouncy castle"
Join Ari and Dynamo as they have a mass pie fight on the bouncy castle. The girls are having so much fun after filming the Pie Factor that they start a Pie fight to use the 350 pies we made earlier. The girls struggle to bounce with their dress so they soon lose their dresses. Just to help the girls along, Hayley throws pies at them along with buckets of water and shaving foam to help them slip and slide on the castle.
