We shot one last unplanned mud video yesterday at Clay Lake, the huge lake we found with the clay bottom. The temperature crept up just to where we weren't too cold and the sun was shining. The new camera worked out great, and here is a sample screen cap from one of the scenes.



ALSO. . . we found another mud spot nearby with DEEP mud! We walked in this mud and kept sinking down, it seems to be bottomless if a person were to move their feet a lot they'd just keep sinking! It was thick and sticky mud, dark and smooth with no sand, sticks, or rocks. So we know where it is and next summer will shoot some video there. Now if by chance we get another hot sunny day, naturally we'll head there to shoot a vdeo, but the weather is not looking good in the two weeks ahead.

It's a contour HD 1080P

Video size is up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and it will shoot up to 60 fps for scenes that can be shown in slow motion.

The cool thing is it can be worn on the strap of goggles so your hands are free. It's also splashproof and very lightweight at just 4.3 ozs.

I'm only shooting at 1280 x 720 for starters, which is still double the width of my old camera, and with a much sharper picture.
