Obviously the messages are being posted as you answered it.. I find that i have to "look them up" as i don't see them on the forum i.e. in the order in which they were posted.
Is is all being done alphabetically now??
I will contact Messmaster as to how to "rate " my store.
At the top of each forum is a set of headings, clicking any one of these will sort the forum posts how you prefer to see them just like a windows folder view. This setting remains when you leave the site so you do not have too keep changing it. Personally I prefer to have it by order of recent posts so as to see the latest news as I believe most do, it sounds like you have sorted it alphabetically

The "blob" only appears next to NEW posts. So only other members can see it. Once they have read the post, the blob will disappear. If a post becomes a "Hot Topic" then an orange exclamation mark will appear in front of your post.
If you see a bunch of posts with the "blob" in front of them and click on the "mark all posts as read" link, the blobs will all disappear. Try it and see.
