Just like the title says, would like who would be interested in a Wam social meet central to the East Coast in Charlotte N.C. After seeing the post for the meet in the upper East Coast, I started wondering if there shouldn't be one here centrally and one further south too.
This is a social fetish after all, shouldn't you be making an effort to do something about?
What do you think? Would you, could you make your way to Charlotte to meet other Wammer of interest?

well, i'm from raleigh, so it's a possibility, but explaining a spontaneous trip down to charlotte would be difficult for me. maybe if it were scheduled around a concert or something. who knows

Thank you for replying. It would be a planned event . When and where exactly would depend on the kind of response I receive here. I would really like to have a group of around 30 or so mixed men & women for socializing. Event if it's not that large, I would still like to hold a gathering. Past the word around and let's see that we can get going.

Yeah, it depends on the timing - it's a 7 hr drive from Pittsburgh - but I like the idea in theory.

I think if someone is willing to commit 14 hours of drive time to come meet other wammers, then I would absolutely make every effort to have a place & time for them to meet.

well, it's a great idea and about as close to raleigh as i'll probably be lucky enough to have, but i'm not sure how i'd get out there.

I've had to be out for a bit, but nice to see the replies. When the site gets back to normal, it will be great to see who is replying.
About the meet -, it all depends the best time and the response here. By that time you should have a good plan worked out about getting transportation.

I'm here in the western part of NC...just south of Asheville...would be able get there in about 2 1/2 hours...not a bad drive to meet other Wammers and have some messy fun.
A weekend would be best.

Sorry friend, but that post was made a little over a year ago and only one person responded.
It would be nice to have a social meet here in town. Right now I'm a bit too busy to try and pull one together right now.
