So, having washed up on the shores of Southern California and let loose on my own I wanted to shoot a GungeGirls.com video U.S style.

Or a U.S video Noise style.

Take your pick.

Anyways, I met a lovely young lady called Star who hails from the Northern End of Cali but was hanging out in L.A for a couple of weeks. I borrowed some lights, picked up a used camera and talked a lovely lady into pouring some cake batter slime and throwing a couple of Kool Whip pies.

Star is an awesome lady and totally up for playing with us. You should see more of her soon as I have a little project I am cooking up to experiment with.

Noise, what a natural! She's beautiful! From the "coy" look in the 5th pic in the first row, to the "modest" look in the last pic in the second row, to all the gunge and pie pics, she is a winner!

She has such great expressions throughout, but we'll say that's because you're such a good director!

I hope that we will see more of her in the projects that you're "experimenting" with!

I've just downloaded this video and it's great, loving the thick slime and the pies too! I look forward to seeing Star again when you get your 'little project' together!

I'm looking at two to four weeks for the little project. It should be a lot of fun!

Ah... I think I'm going to run a little pilot first actually, so look out in a few hours!

You could do some "nice" green-screen effect with this shoot! Or maybe you'd need better lighting on the backdrop for that...

I'm working with borrowed lights that I am not happy with brightness-wise already. I'm actually still building my little studio and looking at putting in lights just to light the background as well. New lights and that might be enough for some green screen fun... I want to do it right though. Nothing worse than bad green screen and that's all I have managed so far.

Another problem is the moment some gunk hits the green screen the effect gets ruined.

I will get it right though one day
