Ya know, Messmaster, I suspected it was really you after I discovered that hitting F5 (refresh screen) continually flipped posts from butchered to normal, and avatars also flipped back from real to fake.
So that meant that the real data was preserved.
Hackers don't protect stuff. They intentionally destroy it. Plus, far as tricks go, it seemed too complex to be the work of somebody that didn't completely understand the site.
You took a big risk there, though, in "consumer confidence".
At first glance, it looked like the integrity of the site had been seriously compromised somehow. I wondered, "Are my clips and the UMD clip store all safe?" Then again, I guess, since the store is YOUR baby and the clips are data that I already own, it's not like murdering the clip store would end the existence of my clips and it ain't me who'd be stuck reconstructing the store.
The "I Love Pink" background, though, really was funny.
