So, in terms of wam models, how old is too old?

Is it roughly one's one age range that one tends to find sexually attractive, or is there a finite ceiling? I'm just starting to approach middle age myself, and while the upper age limit of women I find attractive has risen a bit as I get older, I don't take it as a given that I'll be into grannies someday.

I ask because a few producers continue to use older (45+) models, including some "celebrities," and while I'm generally turned off, they must sell well enough. For example, Lenny is shooting with the porn star Seka, and Brinke Stevens has been doing quicksand models for a couple of producers for at least 10 years; they're both pushing 60 now. That's just not what I want to see in a fetish video, personally, but obviously there's a niche for that and I'm just curious about how big it is.

Recently a friend made the acquaintance of a former "scream queen" who mud wrestled in the 80s, and who's supposedly fun and still looks good for late 40s, and I've thought of pitching a "sequel" to her mud wrestling scene. But, I dunno.

In all seriousness, I am now a thirty something and have found myself referring to any females below mid twenties as girls.


I called a kid (23 years old) "son" the other night.... as in "Excuse me son, you dropped your wallet".

 

I'm yet to have problems selling anything with 'Older ladies' in, reason for this is all the girls/ladies who are on the team are into to it anyway.

One thing I have found is the more mature the lady is, the higher the levels that she is prepared to work to. Also, it is easier sometimes, not all of the time, to go straight into a shoot with little or no direction.

Noise, that's true, I now tend to think of college age girls as too young for me ... but then, "barely 18" sexual material always kind of creeped me out, even when I was 22.

I am sort of curious as to whether I'll think 80 year-old women are "hot" when I'm 80 myself, but really, the focus of my question was about 40- and 50-something ladies (or men) in fetish & porn imagery. Are we turned on by this, or do we want to see younger models? Does that change depending on the spectator's age?

Good point that, do we like older women as we get older ourselves. I have to say I do. I'm now 40 (old or what!!) and I fiind milf's hot. Though I just find women in generally hot.... Though I do seem to look at ladies age 25+ Though of course that's just my personal preference.

My two cents: There's a market for WAM that features older women. I'd say it's a niche market.

How old is too old? That's hard to say, isn't it? Everyone has their own tastes. There are younger men who are attracted to older women. There are older men who prefer younger women. And there are men who like 'em all!

Anyway, some women look fabulous in their 40s and 50s and some don't. There's aging gracefully...and not so gracefully.

Like the fetish, it's all a matter of preference.

I can't say that there are any 50+ women I find sexually attractive ... but there are a few in their late 40s (give me some Jennifer Beals wam!), and I might not have said that 5 years ago. Hmmm.

20 is cool, but I think 90 may be pushing it! For women, too.
There are younger guys that I find attractive, of course. But I like & prefer older men. which is something that I think I "grew" into. I feel that age is relative. Have you seen how good Kevin Bacon looks for his age??? Must be all that yoga!

I don't know that there is a definitive cutoff, is what I'm trying, probably unsuccessfully, to convey.

Well, in terms of wam model retirement age, permit me to issue an emphatic NOT YET for both Lisa and Mrs. Bee.

I've seen some girl appearing for too long after just one scene, Like you said it's all about how much fun the model is having in front of the camera. You are also a great mentor for all Mostwam new models and all the new models in this community in general.

If anyone ever gets tired of seing you roll around in mud or pies well he might be done with WAM imo ;)

So back to the question of how old is too old.. I think the answer is never.. if someone is having fun producing it and they sold 3 copies of their clip, but they had a blast, I'm totally cool. I'm not going to buy it, but thats fine.. I've never bought any clips with 2 hot dudes playing in mud and never will but that doesnt mean they shouldnt put their thing in here.

I completely agree with Max about Persia Monir, she's is a perfect example of a great looking, more mature woman, and she really enjoys wam too.

Well said, Spuddy!!! I'm 41, only got really into this a couple of years ago and I bloody love it!!!! Age is irrelevant, resistance is futile! btw - I get plenty of compliments from younger chaps along with guys more my age, as well as ladies my age and younger saying well done and good for you, etc - so, whatever floats your boat .....

 

I realize that the over-40 female will never have the same amount of fans as the under-30 female, but there are guys who tell me that as they age, some of the young babes start to look too much like their children. So yes, for some men, what constitutes beauty does indeed change with age.

Other men prefer a personality over good looks anyway, while others yet don't care about actual years if only she still looks good.

Culturally, the idea of dating someone substantially younger is more well-supported for males than for females. This translates out to younger models selling well to older men, because if they could actually date her, they would consider themselves to have won a trophy. This is a thing that just isn't true for older women.

I have noticed that my idea of "goodlooking guy" has increased in age alongside me but that the range widens as I get older. When I was 20, I would consider, oh, somebody between 18 and 22 to be ideal and preferably, they had to have the hair and physique of a rock star. That is actually a very narrow standard.

Today, though, many average men from around 35 to 65 look good.

So, basically, over the years, I've gotten less picky about looks. Actually, a lot less. Attitude can make somebody look better than he would otherwise to me, and a lousy personality can utterly ruin what might otherwise be a wonderful body.

I fully expect to someday be 85, and that 87-year-old dude in the next room at the old folks home just may be looking good.

I don't think geriatric WAM will ever be huge business money-wise but I doubt that everyone will actually stop doing their fetish thing just because they are older and I don't think they should stop doing it anyway. Why stop something that enhances the quality of life if you still can?

I figure that for me, I'll still be in mudpits long after I've stopped shooting.

I probably won't be a consumer of video when I am in my 80's since it is likely to feature only people young enough to be my grandchildren. I am already having some difficulties enjoying clips that feature extremely young-looking female models, so when I am truly old, I will probably be happier with my imagination.
