Just tried to post a customer service email address in a thread where a customer was having a problem and the forum is turning it into an HTTP URL. I tried using a regular mailto anchor tag and that turns into a UMD url, again with an HTTP protocol. The only way I can post an email address now is to surround it with a broken anchor tag. It still gets underlined but it doesn't link to anything.

Seriously MM, email addresses don't need automatic handling. Anyone who can't manage to copy and paste an address into their mail application probably shouldn't be using the internet without supervision anyway
