Hi all, I hope you are doing ok and starting to feel the calm after the storm that comes with September and the mellowness of autumn. (for us Brits at least!) I love autumn, it's my favourite season by far. The kids go back to school tomorrow and everything settles back into a comforting routine.
I WILL be filming again regularly and i will be taking on custom films soon. But I will be doing less than before for my own sanity! I appreciate all the messages of support from everyone here over the last couple of months. I am on the road to recovery, but I could fall off at any point so I do need to be careful not to take too much on. I still have a few customs to do from a couple of months ago and those will be my priority.
I will also be resuming private sessions on September 11th. HOWEVER...... I am going away this week and will be out of the country for a week. So I won't be able to take care of any messages, emails etc. All I ask is that you are patient with me. I AM forgetful and I AM a scatterbrain, but depression does that to you. (anyone who might be interested in understanding depression a little better and in really simple terms may find this very helpful): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HJ9HxGqTW4
So, yes I am still here and I hope to be around for a while longer! I had an excellent day on Saturday filming with Bob of Messy Mayhem and I got to meet Candy Custard and Henry Wilcox who are both LOVELY! I really enjoyed getting gunged, but I enjoyed meeting them more and I hope to meet up with them all again soon! and if there are any Splunches, I hope to attend! I also filmed with Booted Babes last week and had the most wonderful day at a lake which I had a nice splash about in!
P.S. Some links appear to be broken on the site, these are just films that have been added but not yet published! I will get round to doing them, so don't fret!!
Thanks for posting the video. I've been lurking around here since 2004 or something and only signed up in 2012. This is my first post on the UMD!
Anyway, thank you for sharing. I've been living with depression for quite a few years and the video sums things up quite succinctly and successfully. I've been to counselling but retain a fear of treating the condition pharmaceutically. I guess we find ways to function.
I think perhaps that for us Moderns it's probably something that many of us will have to go through at some point in our lives. So, I wish you all best and also extend those good wishes to any other UMD users who may be suffering a similar ill just now. It's not forever but it may be a constant battle and, though a sometimes galling platitude, there is light at the end of that tunnel. Keep going
All best, Dan x

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better! I'm also glad to hear that you are going to force yourself not to do too much. I know it'll be hard, because everyone here loves you and your work and wants a piece of you and your time! Continue to follow your plan, and I hope that you continue to feel better!
The pics of Elizabeth look great! She is really cute and looks fabulous in her undies! She looks wonderful covered in the gunge! Great job!
Btw, Jessie, you look really hot in your outfit, too! :lovestruck:
And thank you for that film on depression! Not only is the message great, but I LOVE the pictures that accompany the dialog! They are perfect! When I watched the vid, it seemed to cut off suddenly, and just at the point where the person is feeling really, really low. I found a 5:33 version that I am posting, where it continues about the help that one can get. I hope that's helpful for someone.
You've been through a lot, but you're a strong person Jessie. Keep at it and I know that you'll continue to improve! God bless you!
