Katey is just adorable. I have been waiting to see this gorgeous young woman pied ever since you first posted wet shots of her several months back. Despite the buildup of anticipation, this video does not disappoint in any way! The addition of the lovely Rebecca Jane -- quite a WAM trooper, this one! -- just made the proceedings even sweeter.

I have to agree with welshwammer -- those pie hits *sound* very vicious. So much so that I was almost put off at first, thinking the girls were getting hurt by the pies. But I think the "bark must be worse than the bite," so to speak, because the girls don't react as though they are in pain at all...more just in shock, at least for the first half dozen pies each takes.

There are a couple of tricks to it, preparation and delivery is key....also not sitting too close to the wall as the main danger is hitting your head on it!

The pies looked amazing, some of the best in our part of the world for sure! BUT OH MY GOD, THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY HURT!!!

The sound of the pies as they hit the face was a bit scary! I hope they both enjoyed it! RebeccaJane and Katy look like great additions to the Moomin brood!

I can assure you, NO girls were harmed in the making of this video.

They don't hurt, just a little startling, the girls would tell me soon enough if I was causing them pain.

To be honest, I'm throwing most of them and am trying hard to follow the strict requirements of pie fans, whilst not injuring the girls!
If we are doing it right or wrong we would like to know so we can improve next time!

The shoot itself is fab as are the pies, all very right for me

It was just the sound of the hits that made it sound worse than it was.

watching it again its probably the excess filling hitting the wall behind that's making the noise

Ah, yes, the wall behind was a set wall, not a hard wall, so that is probably the reason for the noise.
