Jilly is going to do a "trash the clothes" video for wambabes this month. She's going to wear cute blue jeans, some sort of cute top and shoes. She is going to totally ruin the clothes and cut and tear them to shreds. I'm wondering what substances do you all think are the best for totally trashing clothing? Thanks!
The only thing that has ever really ruined my clothes beyond salvage is paint and things like tomato soup. Anything with a lot of tomato in it tends to stain. Blognese sauce is one of my favourite things to get messy in, but it will ruin your clothes, especially if they are white! Baked beans don't seem to stain though....
Thick, lumpy porridge is hard to wash out. Maybe freshly squashed fruit like raspberries? There is always red wine, but that would be a shame to waste!
ummm that sticky shit i had to work with!!! lol. i almost had to throw away my bath tub!! lol!!! just kidding. gotta agree with jess on this one. maybe have her sit in a bowl of rasberries, paint (acrylic or get a big can like you did with me! she would probably die from loving that too much)
All of the substances mentioned above would seem to do the trick. I like Jessica's idea of the white outfit. Perhaps you could swap the blue jeans for a pair of white ones and get some cute white keds and socks and totally ruin the whole lot in all sorts of great mess.
I like to idea of using paint. I'm thinking neon colors (hot pink, green, etc). It's too bad that us in the plains and mid-west hasn't seen soaking rain because a watery and slimy mud puddle would do the trick. And since everyone is adding therir two cents on the outfit I hope to see a pair of sneakers be trashed in the making
Are you guys ready for this??? I certainly am Got all the supplies! And goodness gracious, USED motor oil?? Jayce might be that crazy, but not me! hehe
Can't wait to see this set! I'm a big fan of clothes/shoes ruining so this is right up my alley. Make sure to get Jilly to talk about how badly things are going to stain as she messes them up and how she doesn't know how she will get them cleaned again. Always love the "dirty" talk that goes with a good messing he he.
Don't know how I missed this thread when it was posted. Super-excited for this!
to answer your question - chocolate syrup, cherry/blueberry pie filling, tomato soup, oil (plus this makes clothes go see-through which is awesome!). One of my favorite WamBabes sets ever is Pattycake in that simple white dress, with the chocolate porridge mixture. If only she would have ripped it off rather than pulling it over her head!
I think WAM lately is too often missing the clothes aspect (especially the "ripping clothes off once they're messed" part!) Awesome to see you guys getting back into it.
Jilly, if you think used motor oil is dangerous, try its new. I've used a few times, and it destroys the clothes, but not much affect neither the skin nor hair, although it can cause allergy in sensitive skins. There is an oil used in the cuisine of Bahia (Brazil), called palm oil (dendê), which is difficult to clean because it is very dense. You can also use water-based paint, You can also use water-based ink, nearly inert to the skin and hair but fatal for clothes
