Am i just imagining things when i remember an alternative umd for people under age?.

Im certain there was a ding dong in the past about how old you needed to be to view the content here. I know the rules are very clear now because of new laws ect, but the internet wam scene was still new back in the day.

Does anyone else remeber this as well?

I don't know about that, but I can remember there was a difference in the minimum age of models between some of the earlier websites. I think it was legally acceptable to do modelling work from 16 onwards in the UK, though I don't know if that is still the case. I'm pretty sure crazy girls had some 16/17 yr olds at one point. This must have been about 10 years ago, so I guess that was back in the day.

I found the forum at 14, and didn't sign up till my 18th B-Day. So I've been coming here for 11 yerars, been a member for 7 (says 8 on my profile whoops. Never claimed to be good at math,).

Not sure about underage fourms, The sites I was checking out where PFG MG and WB. So, I never saw any shenanigans or issues when I was on the UMD though.

I do remember the first time I really became aware of the underage rule I knew in common sense terms it was wrong but it didn't turn the light on so to speak until the Olsen twins were slime at KCA when they were 17. The backalsh from that made me never forget the ruie.

You may be thinking of the now-all-but-defunct quicksand fetish forum, deepsinking.org, which was divided into adult and "PG-rated" areas, and which crashed and burned a couple years back because some of its founders/moderators attempted to pretend that it WASN'T a fetish forum, and abruptly tossed out the adult content (which was almost all of it, of course).

well i was a ember underage so i think it would be great to have wam discussions for under 18 year olds .no pictures obviously but i know it can seem, a bit weird and something you cant share so a young community would be great-----peados would be an issue tho

I discovered the internet when I was sixteen and this site (and similar) when I was sixteen and a couple of days. This was over a decade ago...

With regard to the UK modelling age thing - glamour modelling was made legally 18+ only after some tabloid papers started taking the piss with 16yo jailbait on page three.

Many of them owned by the same company whose other papers whipped up hysteria about paedophilia a few years later, which led to a paediatrician being attacked. "You couldn't make it up."

Are you talking about a site that was all ages and said it wasn't a fetish or are you talking about something you were doing illegally which was viewing an adult site while underage ?

If you admitted doing the latter on other adult forums they would kick you off and erase the topic. They might even report you to the local authorities. Please don't admit to doing something illegal on this forum. It can make things for everyone, very messy, very quickly.

Too late for that mohawk plenty of people have admitted they used UMD under age before. As the site says you have to be over 18 and kicks out anyone who is proved to be under 18 I don't see that they can be held responsible. On a serious note maybe we should make a special page for those who click the leave button. Something with a explanation of what a WAM fetish is.
As I've said before the first time I stumbled across umd I didn't find the forums or the community I did find links to other sites. At that point I started using EC WAM. EC had a big scandal because one of the people involved with the site wasn't who they said they were. I couldn't understand why this was a big deal until someone explained to me the site had started when others involved were under 18 and the site was aimed at under 18s. I think it was something about a yahoo group and swimsuits. Someone also said the site had once been EC teenage WAM. Of course this is all hear say as I was well over 18 before I joined and never saw the under age yahoo groups etc. I'm sure yahoo groups I didn't join because I was over 18 when I first began looking for WAM on the net. .

I think that WAY WAY back in the geocities days (12 years ago?), there was a PG UMD mode, but the person who was supposed to maintain it really slacked and MM ditched it.

Back in the day, there was a UMD, Jr. which featured ONLY the G & PG rated sites from the directory at that time. IIRC it was taken down because it was too much effort to maintain both sites.

Perhaps he meant the site wallow world, which had images of hot women getting messy, as well as kids getting dirty, and some had kids and adults in the same image.

It was a great site, but got a lot of flack due to the kids in it.
