I've been getting these messages every time I try to claim my money for a week now. Anyone else? Does anyone know what the problem is? Does anyone know when Alertpay will unfuck itself?

Just curious before i contact the company, get the inevitable run around, and begin my self destructive nerd rage.

somebody tried to transfer $3000 from my bank account to my alertpay. Maybe they're on lockdown. Good thing I have no money right?

ouch. i'm sure if it happened to you it probably happened to others too.

Oh, and as a customer, I am not allowed by alert pay to use a credit card for anything from umd.net, so four of you producers are missing out on business until it is fixed...

methinks umd needs a new card processor...

Can you please contact me at messmaster@umd.net and let me know what the exact error message was? I've already contacted them and asked them for information, but it would help if I could know if there was a specific message that you got.

I've also asked for a reason why check withdrawals were unavailable on Friday.

Can you please elaborate on this? What exactly happened? Was it declined *only* because that much money wasn't in there (as if AlertPay would have allowed it to actually happen)? Or was it declined on suspicion of fraud? I'd really appreciate a little more info on this.

3. I login to AlertPay (with the account created only for this and future UMD puchases....

and https://www.alertpay.com/payprocess.aspx now states,
under "Method of Payment"

This seller does not accept credit card payments at the moment.
and option to use the credit card previously added to the account is shaded out

4. If I ignore and hit the "Confirm and Proceed" button, I get

Okay, I heard back from them regarding the credit card withdrawals. Here is their response:

We apologize for the inconvenience, however we are currently unable to process check or credit card withdrawals due to an unforeseen issue with our banking partners.

You can withdraw your money from your AlertPay account by the following methods:

• Bank Transfer*
• Bank Wire**

*Please check if we provide local banking for your country please click on the following link: https://www.alertpay.com/en/worldwide.aspx

**Bank wire withdrawals are only available in USD, EUR and GBP.

Just log in to your AlertPay account and click on the "Withdraw" tab to initiate a withdrawal transaction.
